Research proposal

1.What is my current topic?
Commonly, in sports such as baseball, basketball and soccer, home teams have higher winning rates and I wonder why it happens. According to some articles, it is because  referees give advantages to home teams or psychological pressure due to supporters' cheer. However, I wonder that cheer actually affects to both of home teams and away teams. Therefore, my current topic is 'Does supporters' cheer affect to athletes' performance?'

2.What are my guiding questions?
Do Athletes from away teams get psychological pressure from home team supporters' cheer?
Does supporters' cheer make team stronger?

3. What are my currents thoughts?
Athletes from away teams can be intimidated by home team supporters' cheer.

4. What is the opposition?
Someone can say that higher winning rates of home teams is only because of referee's favorable judgment for home teams.
